    Is Your Breathing Connected

    What's powerful about breathing?

Our breath houses the power to cleanse, clear and fuel our physical body. Breathing is how we empower our bodies to function. The cleansing effect of connecting the inhale with the exhale clears surface tension from the body immediately. Also, deeper crevices of tension then come up for removal. The breathing mechanism of our being when used optimally, operates as a spiral roto-rooter, scouring and cleaning our blood, emotions such as fear and anxiety. When our breathing is constricted, usually the amount of energy we have to do things is limited as well.

A body wound too tight cannot allow much breath to flow through the muscles and constricts the blood flow and circulation to the muscles and tendons. Breathing more fully and freely immediately gives more flexibility to joints and tendons. Breathing consciously also helps center us and gives us a meditative practice that only takes a few minutes and can shift our attitude or entire state of mind.

Our breath can bring us answers to 3 core life questions: Who am I? What is my life purpose or work? What happens when I die? Pranic breath is the substance of our being which provides all that we need to know about our identity, purpose and soul. By practicing to listen to our breathing, we become more attuned to listening on other levels that begins to provide us answers to the deepest questions of our heart and soul.

Passion is fueled by a vibrantly beating heart and the more freely we breathe, the Easier we move through our day and the more time we have to contemplate and open up spaces during our day to what matters most to us. As more molecules are fueled with spirit filled prana, the more space we find in ourselves to have the time to devote to what fires us the most in our lives.

When we make this shift in focus on the bigger questions that have always been present, we even have time to accomplish the daily tasks that need tending to in a more relaxed and loving way. Our energy is not consumed by a one-track mind tensely completing the many jobs and tasks we pile upon ourselves to stay busy and feel productive.

Passionate action inspired by our higher self feeds and fuels us in all ways. Passion transforms priorities making it easier to stay on purpose and have time to play and enjoy life as a seamless course of playful love.

Why Holding Your Breath is Killing You.

I know, nobody is consciously walking around holding their breath. Breathing freely and fully is simply not a focus of most people when they are busy completing what they are doing. Ever notice when you learn a new exercise or task that you are holding your breath when you do it for the first time? It is as if we are readying ourselves for a blow or a correction if we do it wrong. Wonder where that unconscious habit or tendency came from? We are conditioned creatures until we claim our liberation! Being aware of how we breathe gives us so much more choices and freedom in life. To be able to cope with challenges in our lives from a place of more centered awareness helps us not take the situation so personally, and instead maintain a position of how to most easily and effectively move through what we are facing in the moment.

Instead of avoiding conflict by anesthetizing our response with restricted breath, a tightened chest, or batting down the hatches, shutting down our senses preparing for a battle everywhere we go.

"Breath is our #1 tool for transforming our being and transmuting negativity or anti-creation behavior." Mackenzie Jordan

You can alter your state of consciousness by changing your breathing pattern. A breathing pattern that is allowing and relaxed generates a sense of safety that transcends whatever may be moving through for clearing in one's awareness in the moment. This can become an empowering realization that simply by doing 20 connected breaths, you can shift your entire state.

It is possible to clear confusion and have mental clarity with three alternate sniff breaths. Now that is worth learning and practicing. The breath becomes a container in which all challenges and fears can become grist for the breath mill.
